Participate in an industry-driven, alliance of senior executives representing companies that are creating the infrastructure for sustainable energy and providing energy cost benefit sustainable solutions.  AFREC* is a Mid Atlantic-based private business council that exclusively focuses on the economics and development of corporate and government sustainability programs, projects, products and initiatives.

The AFREC Sustainability Leadership Council is comprised of a diversity of industries that share a vested interest in sustainability, energy and profitability.  Founded in 2005, AFREC is one of the nation’s first Corporate Leadership Councils to endorse all sustainable solutions that improve corporate profitability.

Business Roundtables and Speaker Series – a unique approach to relationship building

These programs use an open forum format presented four times a year. The Roundtables and Speaker Series are specifically designed to build rapport within the Council to create new business opportunities through collaboration. Senior corporate and government executives discuss corporate strategy, new technology, procurement initiatives and forecast industry shifts that could affect business.

Year Round Marketing and Public Relations

The AFREC Website showcases our Council companies’ sustainability initiatives 24/7.  It functions as a portal to pull in sustainability stakeholders and push out your news. We publish your press releases, sustainability reports and accolades.  *AFREC is an acronym for Alternative Fuels Renewable Energies Council.
